I’d like to see a calibration option for the decks. What I mean is, for example, I haven’t studied for a while, and came back to see only 4 out of 70 words. Instead of deleting everything, I’d like to have the option to calibrate the deck and reset the words that I know and dont know in one go.
Why would you delete everything – or anything? Why would you reset anything?
You should just come back and start studying. If you grade your answers honestly and accurately, and use the answer buttons correctly – the algorithm will take care of rescheduling your cards.
It’s unclear what you want to “calibrate” other than that.
Because in my case, the rest of the words aren’t available, they will pop up again only in a few months or even a year from my past studies.
Maybe I dont know something but the only option thay I see is to reinstall the deck to reset it. But what if I do remember 50% of the words? Thats wy I think we should have an option for “calibration”, like a test where the algorithm will reset and mark what needs to be studied again from scratch and what not.
That is precisely what you should want, given you graded your cards accurately. It means you don’t have to study the cards yet, as you will likely remember them with a certain percentage (your desired retention).
… but that’s exactly what already happens when you study and grade your cards.
