I will release a fix soon.
Not to pry but do u have an idea of when?
Should be fixed now.
thank you
My decks seem to be importing without any of the images (picture files) attached to the cards. The icons indicating there should be an image are present, but double-clicking does not actually do anything. I also got a warning after importing that the image files were missing (something along those lines anyway).
Can you share your AnkiApp database file? See the previous replies for instructions.
Here’s the database (note: there are a bunch of cards that are missing answers on the back, I haven’t filled them all in yet. Those do not seem to be causing an issue on import, but they might look weird in the database).

I pushed a fix. Please update the add-on and try again.
That did the trick, thank you. ![]()
Hi, I’m having issues importing my deck. I was hoping someone could help?
my error is:

You’re probably importing the wrong file. The latest version of add-on now tries to detect the file location automatically. Was the “Data folder” field empty for you?
Hi,
The data field was populated. Whenever I try to import with that option it gives an error message saying, “Unable to locate database file in data folder”.
So that was when I tried getting the file location using the “database file” option and received the error message I initially replied with.
What was the path shown? Can you post a screenshot? Did you make sure to download your AnkiApp decks locally first?
I’m on mac so the path is:
/Users/(myname)/Library/Containers/com.ankiapp.client/Data/Documents/ankiapp
and yes, I have my files downloaded on my desktop and I made copies and put them in a folder in my downloads folder as well
Can you zip the data folder and share it? You can upload it here: https://gofile.io/
Just Shared!
