I found an issue where the add-on fails to properly import some fields if the notetype happens to have field names differing only in case, like “front” and “Front”. The recent update should properly import the deck named “Tema 1 = Constitución” in your collection, except (again) that you may need to adjust the fields order.
Thanj you this has been very helpful but I cant seem to find where the AnkiApp files are saved to export into Anki and im scared i have to redo all of them again
Hi i think i found the file but this error came up and i have really important exams in a few weeks so im scared please help:

What’s the name of the file and in what folder did you find it?
I don’t think it was the right file, it was labelled Anki, and it was in a placed called (C:)
That’s the wrong file. Some users reported not being able to find the database file in the expected location under C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\AnkiApp.
I feel really dumb but i have no idea where that is, i tried looking everywhere
Maybe it’s not there for you. But if you copy and paste the exact path to File Explorer’s address bar and hit Enter, it should take you to the folder directly if it exists.
Hi Abdo,

I saw that somebody else reported a similar error, could it be that with a newer update of Anki the add-on is no longer working? or am I missing something?
I have tried downloading an older version of Anki to use the importer you have but I still get an error so perhaps it is something I am doing wrong:

If it’s possible to investigate any help would be greatly appreciated! I’m reluctant to start typing up all my cards again.
go file. io/d / KccuQ3
You have an unused notetype named “New Front-to-Back” that doesn’t have any fields defined in the database for some reason, which is causing Anki to refuse to add it. I’ll look into making the add-on ignore such notetypes. For now, you can try this modified version of your database: Gofile - Free Unlimited File Sharing and Storage
You’re the best, that worked perfectly! thanks so much.
hi there! where can i download my ankiapp files? i have an exam in a few days and its not letting me review any of my cards anymore because i have exceeded the daily limit. i would like to switch over to the original anki but im not sure how to import my data to the platform. where do i find the ankiapp files to download? i tried looking for C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\AnkiApp but i wasn’t able to find it in my mac book. please let me know soon. thanks!
Go to Tools > Import From AnkiApp and choose AnkiApp’s database file (
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\AnkiApp\databases\file__0on Windows;~/Library/Application Support/AnkiApp/databases/file__0/1or under~/Library/Containers/com.ankiapp.client/Data/Documents/ankiappon macOS).
I got reports from users not being able to find the data anywhere. I’m still unsure where it can be.
Hi there
Any chance you’ve found where the folders are now?
Is it only on Mac?
Peter
No, I don’t know yet.
FWIW, I just tried the latest version from the app store, and it created that file (an SQLite DB)
Hi!
I am having an issue where when I imported my files from the AnkiApp over to Anki none of my images transferred over (but the rest of the information on the decks did). I know you have worked with about people about this but I didn’t see an updated fix.
Thank you!!
gofile /d/roPBd6
here is the link to my ankiapp data.
When I try to use a deck that should have images the card just says “The front of this card is blank”
Thanks
