When I click on a Powerpoint slide to copy to my clipboard Anki doesn’t recognize the slide being in my clipboard. I am trying to occlude the image using Image Occlusion Enhanced ([https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1374772155](https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1374772155)). My Mac recognizes the copied slide when I paste it into Word but not for Anki. Additionally, Anki can copy and paste jpg, jpeg files but it cannot pick up the Powerpoint slide. ---

It’s not too surprising that 2 Office apps – Powerpoint and Word – could make their own conversion from slide to doc while another app wouldn’t be able to. That’s correct. Anki can’t convert anything else to an image when taking it in. ---

Try taking a partial screenshot of your PC screen. - [Mac] Shift + Command (⌘) + 4 - [Windows] Windows + Shift + S ---

yea I know how to take screenshot. I used to be able to copy and paste ppt slides but i guess a new update happened that has changed it. On a windows computer I’m still able to copy and paste the ppt slide into anki but no longer on mac (i have to take screenshot and it just takes longer) ---

You may have more luck opening the slides in LibreOffice. ---
