# Cloze deletion with line break issue

When I use cloze deletion on text with a line break, only the first part becomes colored while the second part stays black. How do I make it so that the entire cloze deletion is ONE color, regardless of line breaks?

For example, I created the following cloze-deleted card:

The issue is that I made the entire cloze deletion to be RED, but this is how the card turns out (due to line break):

Here is my current Styling section of the card.

How can I resolve this? I tried searching everything. I even found a previous post but there was no solution.

Couldn’t reproduce this either. Styling seems to be working just fine regardless of whether the new line is input as a `<br>` or as a `<div>`, so your exact code will be required to figure out the source of the problem.

Also, which Anki version is this on? There was an issue with HTML line breaks at some point, even though this one is not very likely to be connected
