# Can't import cards

every time i try to input a deck of cards it keeps telling me error: 500: note has 22 fields, expected 3. and then none of the cards would import. can someone PLEASE help me?? i can’t seem to solve this

Are you adding cards from the editor? Can you test without add-ons? [When problems occur - Frequently Asked Questions](https://faqs.ankiweb.net/when-problems-occur.html)

I suspect some add-on is causing this.
