# Cannot show new cards before review/learn

I have just updated my anki to V3 scheduler and I am having trouble with scheduling.

I am wanting to see my new cards before review, which I had been doing before I updated this.

Under display order, I have the following:

New card gather order - Ascending position  
New card sort order - Card type, then random  
New/review order - Show before reviews  
Interday learning/review order - Show before reviews  
Review sort order - Ascending intervals

I have never had an issue with this before, but have tried following everything others have tried to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Interday learning cards might be coming before reviews, no?

1. Are you sure you’re looking at the correct Deck Options? Is this for the deck the cards are actually in, or the deck you are clicking to study?
2. What are you being shown first _instead_ of your New cards? (In your message you ask about Review cards, but in your subject you also mention Learn.) Short-interval Learn cards? Interday Learn cards? Review cards?
