Im trying to study pathways, but it gets confusing when the cards don’t show up in the correct pathway order. Essentially what I want to do is see card 1, then card 2, but then go back to card 1 if I mess up card 3. And repeat this process until I can do the whole pathway in order. I hope that makes sense and any help would be super appreciated!

I had to modify this addon https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1188253433 because many people want to view the cards in their own order. I suggest they simply create an “N” field, enter their desired order, sort the table, and view all the cards. And for your case, if you make a mistake, simply return to the top of the list. So you sort the table yourself as you need and go through the entire list. Of course, this isn’t spaced repetition, but you can try it during the learning phase.

No, it’s not possible – every card stands on its own and gets its own grade.
You formulated this as a study-order problem, but really it seems more like a card-design problem. If you want to study an entire pathway and only grade yourself correct if you get every piece of the pathway, then that sounds like just one card. [Although I join others in thinking that’s too much for a single card.]
An alternative for learning sets and enumerations (see #9 & 10) is to use cloze methods to study parts of the list/pathway together while you build up to the whole list. Search for note types/add-ons like “enhanced” cloze or “one-by-one” cloze.
