# Bug: Cloze Deletion Mangles HTML

There’s a problem with how text selection interacts with HTML tags in the Add window.

This is tracked on [Convert divs when cloze deleting? · Issue #1051 · ankitects/anki · GitHub](https://github.com/ankitects/anki/issues/1051), and unfortunately is not trivial to fix.
