Anki Version 26.09.2. Running on Linux Mint 22.3.
Upgrading to 26.09 caused the front page of Anki to remain blank. After removal and reinstallation, it appeared, but after a short lag. This lag has disappeared with 29.06.2.
However, when selecting a card from the browse window, the same blank page appears and remains blank for 5 – 10 sec. The card eventually appears.
Same problem as the front page?
This is usually a video driver issue. Have you tried Troubleshooting Checklist #6 video drivers?

No. I presumed it must have been code, because I do not suffer from the lag on the home screen of Anki. I’ll try and let you know.
Trying Vulkan leaves all windows blank. Changing the video driver to Software seems to make all windows visible and drawn faster than the original OpenGL.
Is that to be expected?
It depends on your video driver, but it looks like Vulkan is broken for Linux users recently (26.05+) more often than not. I’ll see if there’s a way we can detect issues and hide the option and fall back to software rendering.
