# Anki not working on mac

I have tried opening my anki multiple times and each time i receive the same message where the anki launcher opens up and asks me to press enter to launch the latest anki. This is the message that presents ’ No solution found when resolving dependencies for split (python\_full\_version \>= ‘3.10’):

I’m not sure how to fix this or what it means

this all began when i was prompted on my anki to download the latest update. i have attempted to follow anki guidlines such as restarting my laptop but it has not fixed the issue.

Please download and install the latest Anki package from [https://apps.ankiweb.net](https://apps.ankiweb.net) , rather than try to upgrade from within the Anki app.
