# Anki Launcher error message when updating

I keep getting this error when I try to update Anki from the launcher. Does anyone know what I can do? I’m not tech savvy at all, and I’m scared to lose or break something lol

I really appreciate your thorough response. I will have to ask my son to look at this because I am not familiar enough with computers to be able to do all this. I don’t know how I was able to download Anki in the first place! Hopefully he will be able to resolve it following your advice. Thanks for the help!
