# Anki Error Message

"A network error occurred.

Error details: ⁨error sending request for url (): error trying to connect: connection closed via error⁩"  
This is the message from my desktop.

On my phone and iPad i see the error code 9806

Please make sure you are on the latest version. If that doesn’t fix it take a look at this comment that replied to someone else who had the same issue as you:
