# Anki Desktop. When Add a card to a deck, can the input Window be pinned so that it always on top?

Anki Desktop.  
When Add a card to a deck, can the input Window be pinned so that it always on top?

The Add Note window already does stay open and active/on top even after you click Add.

Yes. But when I switch from the Add Note Window to another window, the Add Note Window can not say on top.

That’s correct. If you leave the window, it won’t be on top anymore. Anki doesn’t have any native functionality to change that, so I’d just suggest keeping the Add window alongside your other window. Or otherwise I’m sure there are 3rd-party apps or OS settings that you can use to control windows that way.
