Hello,

I’ve been using Anki on this Windows device for one year and it was perfectly working.

After downloading the 26.08.1 version on Windows, I encontered a problem. After opening the app, my decks briefly appear before disappearing. All the buttons are still visible. If I press the “decks” button, my decks briefly appear, for a fraction of second.

I tried suppressing Anki and downloading it again. I went through the whole “Troubleshooting” section, trying everything. Nothing changed.

I even created a new account, on which I created one deck with one flashcard. It appears normally, but clicking on it doesn’t do anything. I can use “Tools” and “Study a deck” to select a deck, then the normal page appears : blue button “Study now” , number of cards to study, but clicking on the “study now” button doesn’t have any effect.

Have you encontered such a problem or do you now how I could resolve it ?

Thanks for your help

- Did that include #2 add-ons, and #6 video drivers?
- Did you try _all_ available video drivers and restart after each change one?
- Do you have an NVIDIA graphics card – [Search results for 'nvidia' - Anki Forums](https://forums.ankiweb.net/search?q=nvidia)?

Thank you for your answer !

- I just double-checked, I have no add-ons.
- And I double-checked the different video drivers, closing and opening again Anki after each change. I hope that’s what was implied by “restarting”, (I’m not a native English-speaker, even though I’m quite fluent I’m not always 100% sure I understood perfectly.)
- I don’t know what an NVIDIA graphics card is. Could you explain it to me ? Is it on my computer or part of the Anki app ?

Thanks for your help !

It’s a piece of hardware that your computer uses. You’ve definitely got _some_ graphics card in your computer – the question is whether it’s an NVIDIA one that is causing these issues. If you don’t know, you should Google how to determine that on your particular system.
