Hi,

I’m having an issue where the Browse editor gets stuck after I edit a note. When I click another note, the highlighted row changes, but the editing panel keeps showing the previous note’s content. This makes it difficult to continue editing because I can’t tell whether I’m working on the correct note.

I’ve restarted Anki in safe mode with add-ons disabled and updated the app, but the problem continues. I also received a macOS notification mentioning that Python was force-quit, although I’m unsure whether that is related.

I’m using an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 26.3.1. I’ve noticed this while editing notes from an imported deck, but I haven’t confirmed whether it affects my other decks too.

Could someone help me figure out what’s causing this? Please let me know which logs or additional details would be useful. I’d like to resolve it without losing my notes, personal edits, or review progress.

Thank you!
