I have an anki deck on psychology and it keeps merging all separate decks into one mega psychology deck and I’m wondering how I can separate them into separate decks.This happened before and I rest my anki history to a previous day but it’s happened again!!
How are you naming the decks? If you name them starting with psychology::, they will all be nested under that deck. Getting Started - Anki Manual
To separate them you can –
- Rename them to remove the
psychology::from the front. - Drag-drop them on the main Decks screen.
- In Browse, switch the left sidebar to the Selection tool and drag-drop them there.
Since you’ve seen some unexpected changes, it’s probably worth running Tools > Check Database as well.
