Thanks for your hard work! Reading through the changes and the reasoning, it looks like the import/export changes are made due to safety reasons - but how about leave a wrapper/shim in which just passes all supported arguments to the new ImportAnkiPackageRequest/ExportAnkiPackageOptions so that it does not break plugin api/prints a deprecation log for those who are actively developing plugins to transit but leaves old/not actively maintained plugs still somewhat functional? ---

For crashes, more detail would be helpful – - What were you doing when the crash occurred? - Is this a one-time thing, or does it happen consistently? If you have a reproducible case, we need to know that. - Have you ruled out that this is caused by an add-on – see [Troubleshooting Checklist](https://docs.ankiweb.net/troubleshooting.html) #2? What about the rest of the Troubleshooting Checklist? - Paste what you get from `About > Anki > Copy Debug Info`. ---

1. Happens randomly - no such pattern. 2. Consistently but very random I cannot trigger it. Sometimes it happens when I am on review screen and sometimes on home screen. 3. I had disabled my addons and it still crashed. .3. Did you answer “What about the rest of the Troubleshooting Checklist?” Have you tried everything there – even the things you don’t think are relevant? 1. Is this crash new, as of you installing this beta build? Or did it also happen with the prior beta build, or also with the current released version? 2. Run Anki from a command prompt – [Startup Issues - Anki Manual](https://docs.ankiweb.net/platform/windows/startup-issues.html#debugging) – so you can see if there are any other errors reported when it crashes. ---

Apologies, Dan. I’m currently trying Video Driver troubleshoot option. I had changed it from Direct3D to Vulkan but that didn’t fix it. I’m currently trying OpenGL option - I’m aware Software has the best chance of fixing it. Edit - Crashed with OpenGL option as well - trying Software rendering now. Missed “Reset window sizes” option so trying that as well. Edit 2 - Crashed even after using “Reset window sizes” option. Fully testing Software rendering now. Edit 3 - Crashes in Software rendering too. 1. I do not recall it crashing on previous builds. 2. The “Unhandled Exception…” Part in my previous comment was the error it showed in the command prompt. ---
