Thanks for the beta!

I am experiencing a small regression.
In one of my note types (a modified “cloze” note type that makes heavy use of javascript) the first card of that note type being reviewed each session flickers upon being flipped. This doesn’t happen to any subsequent card within the same session.

It seems this was introduced by [feat: lazy-load MathJax on Reviewer by BrayanDSO · Pull Request #5171 · ankitects/anki · GitHub](https://github.com/ankitects/anki/pull/5171).
Adding a stray `\(` to the front template seems to be enough to circumvent the flickering.

It seems [Shift editor control to TypeScript by abdnh · Pull Request #4029 · ankitects/anki · GitHub](https://github.com/ankitects/anki/pull/4029) introduced a regression related to this add-on [editor: batch replace in one field, also with regex](https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/356095608) (confirmed via `git bisect`). This happens even if you don’t activate the experimental Editor.

The add-on isn’t exactly broken, but it can no longer be used multiple consecutive times within the same field, unless you defocus and refocus it.

For example:

1. Select a field, then try using the add-on → works as expected
2. Try using the add-on a second time → nothing happens
3. Move to another field, then back to the original one
4. Try using the add-on again → works as expected
5. Try using it again → won’t work
6. Move to another field …

Thank you for testing this - I’ll revert the change for now.

Can you share the template?

This minimal template seems to be enough to trigger the flickering:

#### Front

```html
{{Front}}
```

#### Back

```html
{{Back}}
<!-- \( -->
```

Legacy Editor: when copy-pasting an image that’s already in the collection, `style="vertical-align: baseline;"` gets automatically added to its HTML

For example:

1. In a field that already contains `<img src="example.png">`, select the image and press Ctrl+C
2. Paste it (Ctrl+V)
3. The pasted image’s HTML becomes `<img src="example.png" style="vertical-align: baseline;">`

It seems this was introduced by [Shift editor control to TypeScript by abdnh · Pull Request #4029 · ankitects/anki · GitHub](https://github.com/ankitects/anki/pull/4029).
