# Add Audio Playback Speed Controls to Anki

I would like to suggest adding audio playback speed controls in Anki ios, such as **0.75×, 1×, 1.25×, 1.5×, 1.75×, and 2×**.

This would be especially useful for users who use Anki for language learning, medical study, and reviewing long audio recordings. A **default playback speed setting** for all audio would also be very helpful.

It’s not just for “Anki iOS”; it’s useful for various types of audio. While 0.75x speed is standard, sometimes you need a more flexible solution for specific audio files—some are very fast, others very slow, so the speed needs adjustment.  
At the same time, the solution needs to be convenient yet compact. I don’t like apps that play slowly at first and then speed up, constantly switching back and forth. I’d prefer it if holding down a button played the audio slowly, while a quick tap played it at normal speed—that would be the bare minimum.  
There are plenty of options available via add-ons, of course, but I know you’re specifically interested in iOS.
