I have seen 2 features in Anki Iphone app. That needs to be added in android.

  1. There is no option to save image from a card into your gallery. In iphone you long press it and save it to gallery. It’s really important, as we have to take screenshots from it .
  2. there should be an option to directly open search cards . And type words to search for a card. Currently, you can search only deck names. For cards you to have to go to browser.
  3. In browser, when you click a card, it opens in editing view. And then when you click preview, it previews the card. It should be the opposite way . When you search a card, you are not always editing it. You are just searching and viewing the card. Which should be how it appears when you 1st click it. And then if you want to edit it. There should be an edit button to click.

  1. You can open the browser from the study screen using gestures or toolbar actions. Also, the app’s navigation will be reworked so ccessing the browser from the main screen would be easier.
  2. This is a planned optional feature. Not everyone wants this behavior.
